Looks like I had a little spot of skin cancer. The doc froze it off. Now got to wait to see if it comes back to find out if I need additional intervention. I am just thankful it’s not melanoma. It’s weird though I pretty much stay out of the sun, I can barely stand being in it for 10 minutes or I feel like I’m going to burn. I guess it’s just the danger of being so light skinned. I could use some hugs though.
Damn @Leaf / Tera. Here’s a hug. here’s to speedy recover!

Damned cancers, I hope it is nothing serious. Hugs.

Hugs))) Tera - Hoping for the best.
Sorry to hear this @Leaf - sending you hugs.
Hope they can operate and make it go away.
My provider’s husband has that. He was diagnosed 30 years ago so I’m thinking you’re in no immediate danger. It’s the type of slow growing cancer, I think.
Leaf do you happen to know if it was a basal cell carcinoma? Sometimes known as a rodent ulcer?
he said it most likely is squamous cell carcinoma, apparently not dangerous if caught early - which it was. The thing only showed up about a month ago. I really only noticed it because it sort of itched and it has a sort of papery feel to it. It doesn’t feel like skin so it put up red flags and I got in to see doc right away. I’m sure it will be fine, he really froze the hell out of it. The thing was the size of a pencil eraser but he froze a section the size of a nickel.
Wishing you all the best.
Hope all turns out well for you
Hugs!!! Hope all goes well.
You caught it early so it most likely won’t show up…my ex wife before we divorced had cancer cells removed from her nose and it left a big scar…good for you that you caught it so early !!
It’s on my chest so the scar won’t bother me so much, if it were on my face I think I would be a lot more upset. My ex had it basal cell on his face and his scar isn’t even that bad so either way I guess it would be alright. It’s just good it’s not melanoma.
My neighbour had basal cell so I know a little about it. Don’t know anything about squamous. But I would be encouraged that your doctor wasn’t overly concerned. Keep an eye on it though.
