So been busy as with life and things but I’ve got some good news. The biopsy on the skin cancer on my high cheekbone is a bcc! I’m booked in wed next week to get it taken out and it’ll scar but it’s up near my hairline and I’d rather it gone!
Trying to find a balance with life at the moment is a work in progress but I’m getting there slowly…is there any other way?
That’s good news. Is it a mole ? I had one removed before and the scaring is not that bad. It goes red for a while but then you wouldn’t know it was there.
Thanks @anon25873142…no it was more a wound that wouldn’t heal. It’s a skin cancer from the sun. It’s on the side of my face getting sun when I mow the oval down the club so it’s been getting hit for 15 years or so. Need a broader brimmed hat and more sunscreen.
My sister has had a lot of moles removed. They can be problems and some you need gone. I’m glad your’s didn’t scar but I’d rather the cancer gone and will take my luck with the scaring.
Glad to hear that @rogueone! Yep, have that sucker whipped off. No one will notice the scar. I’ve assisted a GP several times when removing skin cancer. The scars are usually very fine, and blend into your natural skin fairly quickly.
