Another bump on my head, another visit to the dermatologist, another biopsy, another cancer scare. It never ends.
Well, actually it does end, that’s what I’m trying to put off.

Mate. Get tested. I do far too much time in the bloody sun out here and I need to watch things. I’ve a mole on my leg that is growing so going in next week.
They can do really good things with melanoma’s these days so it’s important to get the checks. I know it’s a pain but do it! We need you around for a bit longer yet my friend!

Thanks @rogueone I was at the dermatologist today and she stuck a needle in the bump to numb me up and then scraped off part of it to send to Stanford to see what it is and to see if any further treatment is necessary. I have to go back in a week to get the results from Stanford to see if it could be cancer.

Never easy matey but it’s better to know! Be kind to yourself in the meantime. Have a good meal out or something. Life is enjoyment so no bad things. Have something nice!

I’m with you on this one.
I may have to have a biopsy in the future as well to assign a subtype.
But it is better to know to fight my condition rather than avoiding that I have MD.

I have that happen to me all the time. I crack up when the first thing they say in a super excited voice when they walk in my room is: well at least you don’t have cancer! I mean was I supposed to think I did? It better not be cancer! You don’t need that…keep us posted on your results.

Hugs, man. Waiting on biopsy results is the worst. I feel like the not knowing is more terrible than finding out bad news, because you can’t even form a game plan yet.
