I don’t know what you mean by mind control.

Is there anything that might be making you angry ? Like cigarettes ? I was always irritable when I smoked cigarettes.

You can absolutely effect your anger by controlling your thoughts. That’s precisely what you’re supposed to be doing. It part of maturing. Good for you. Many people let their emotions run rampant.

It’s probably not personal. They’re probably like that with everyone.

Is there any way you could avoid these people? If not, then just realise that they’re not very nice people and it’s nothing to do with you.

I don’t have such a great experience policing my brain and driving out thoughts. The bigger deal I make out of trying to block intrusive thoughts the more of a room elephant they become. Imo it’s better to know my brain and it’s tricks and habits, treat it like a dumb entity or machine because that’s what it is, and don’t make fret the obstacles because they’ll stop coming. Thoughts about people and things that bother me are not the real things that are there with me, but distractions because my brain is looking for a hidden threat out of instinct.

I agree with @SkinnyMe it is mind Discipline not mind control.

Anger management therapy books have really helped me.

CBT has helped me manage my anger.

Resist the urge, not respond to those. This way keep on not responding to those and reduce its pull over you. When we respond to those it gets stronger. So think of this fact and not let it get stronger by not responding to those.

@pr21, Those what? Who?

All negative thoughts, ideas, false messages, voices etc. In short all distractions. Responding to distractions is the root cause of all mental problems.
