I agree with @anon4362788 you can get there (feeling better), it takes self care it is sometimes really overlooked.
and self talk to yourself needs to be like a true friend talks to a true friend
I am working on it

I understand how you feel. I often feel that way too, but lately I’ve been trying to remind myself that it is very common for women to feel this way even if they’re pretty
Beauty isn’t in the size of your boobs or the shape of your eyes.
It’s the expression you make when you talk about something that excites you.
It’s the smile you do when you see a cute animal or someone you love.
It’s the movements you make when you hear a song you like.
We all have those things, but they’re unique in every person
thanks for setting this straight, ha.
I love that concept: To have a policy of talking to yourself like a true friend.
I think the main problem is that people somehow can get trapped in a place where they feel inferior because when you watch things on tv and social media most people look good…but it’s kind of unrealistic good…much better than the average person. And some of the pictures you see are even fake. They have been tampered with.
I used to feel inferior about my looks before I got mentally ill. Then after a while I didn’t care anymore. So what if I got some “flaws?” Almost everybody do. Don’t ever think that the people they hire as extras in a tv show like baywatch represents the average person…you catch my drift?
And looks are overrated anyways. I would much rather be with a person who’s personality I like than somebody who is a model.
Did you actually know that almost every person on earth has a more or less crooked body? A chiropractor I went too said this to me at a session. He had seen a lot of bodies in his line of work, and it’s actually a fact that almost nobody has a symetrical body. That’s something to consider the next time you feel bad about yourself.
