I actually graduated, which is crazy because I developed psychosis in my first year and by the end of my retake year got the full diagnosis of scz. It’s been kinda hard afterwards though as being offered a job in my degree has been difficult. I guess it’s a quite a competitive field where I live. I actually been feeling kinda depressed again.
Congratulations on graduating!
About the depression, I’d strongly recommend taking a B-complex pill, as low B-vitamins have been tied to depression.
That’s amazing. I’m so happy for you and proud if your hard work.
Congrats… they make college one of the most difficult things in life… that degree is more a symbol that you can pull it off… it a ticket that employers can trust. Perhaps consider looking outside your field to get you post grad resume going…
Follow your passions from there and consider relocating.
Good job on getting through it! I still feel a pressure every few days that made me wish I had a degree, but I have a couple other avenues to explore before making that plunge.
I’d want to find a more balanced school than the one in my town… it’s so expensive and over-hyped… and just insanely party-oriented… I’d rather find some place reputable, quiet, and mature… with a decently active culture around it.
Well done to graduate. I know first hand how hard it is to do study with sz and you should be congratulated.
Depression has a way of creeping up on you. Have a chat to your doctor now before it becomes a serious issue!
Congratulations on graduating @Sourkoala!
Wow! That’s happy news ! Congratulations !
It was during my final year. I attempted to kill myself but I am seeking help due to feeling quite unstable of late.
Yeah. Near the end I found a group of students who were really cool, we usually met up to play video games, meals together, random chats or the odd going out. But, most students after first year realise going out too much messes them financially and struggle with being able to eat once student finance runs dry
Yeah, i will aim to get some but I will take my antidepressants I have been prescribed earlier this year in the meantime .
Yeah it’s just the process of continuing applying. I have an interview soon though for a job within the field I want from my degree
Congrats. I couldn’t do it. I got really bad psychosis my senior year and dropped out. I can’t even work. I can barely function.
What was your major? I’m curious, if you don’t mind me asking.
Media, I really enjoy it and really has variety in careers but I can be competitive.
Well done
I graduated 2016 be aware the coming is harder
So stay tough
