Do you take your rats to the vet sometimes?
I’m just curious. I’ve only ever had cats and a dog and I’m not sure how it works with rats. Vets are pretty expensive. Do they live long?
I took my robo dwarf hamsters to the vet, when they got sick. One of my hammies developed cancer (a large tumor) and we paid $150 to have it surgically removed.
I think only some vets cover rodents. And even fewer cover “exotics” like reptiles and birds. Our vet, that we see, covers lots of different kinds of animals.
