I had them for 6 years but took a break for two years. They got to be too much for me, but I’m ready to try again.

My niece and nephew have rats. They are such sweet little creatures idk how anyone could hate them.
I think the people that hate them don’t know the difference between a domesticated rat and a street rat. Or maybe they just don’t care.
I think they are wonderful.
We had albino rats when I was a kid. They were really nice pets. Much more interactive than the gerbils we also had.
Rats are actually pretty smart for their size.

Hes probably the most chill ham ive had. Ill put him in the hood of my hoodie and he will just nuzzle up to my neck and take a nap 
Cool. I don’t mind pet rats. A friend had one when I was young though and I thought it was weird. I had a guinea pig one time till I stayed at my grandmothers and my mom put it in the garage cause it’d get pee outside the cage. It froze to death.
