She’s well known for her research in genetics, immunology and so on.
She is at the top of the pyramid.
Of course, she participates in international conferences.
I’m so happy.
Hope I will have a great follow-up from her (if she agrees to treat me.)
I will already be participating in scientific studies as a patient.
I used to see a doctor from Columbia University-- a top researcher in his own right.
I realized that the doctor is only as good as the tools he uses. However, one thing in his favor was that, he had an open mind and was willing to try different things.
I had this appointement finally.
She prescribed me NAC (1600 mg per day in two takes.)
Some other changes in my treatment as well:
More thymoregulators. (and eventually less antidepressant.)
I’m going to participate in an immunology study I think. I mean, I didn’t get that many details.
She noticed some unusual things on my blood test (the teleconsultation video was of poor quality so I couldn’t tell what).
She asked me if I had had any infections as a child. I told her yes, one when I was 3 months old and almost died by the way.
