I feel like failure

My partner works 60 hours a week at a nursing home and now she wants to add working at a fast food place to for 32 hours a week. We are behind in bills because of my in laws. I just want to help and my SSI isn’t enough. No one thinks I can work I’m not even sure I can work. I can’t help I’m just a leech to everyone

You’re not the leech, your in-laws are the leeches. They refuse to go through proper channels to get financial aid, and they mooch off of you and your partner instead.
That’s despicable.

You’re just trying to help

92 hours??
That’s on average 13 hours every single day of the week

Thats a common feeling, but you can only do what you can do. my wife works but i don’t. But tell your significant other she must be seeing things if she can work that much.

can you get your own place and live together with cheaper bills?

You are not a leech @cbbrown!

You have a severe mental illness and are on disability for it.

Nothing wrong with that!

It’s no wonder that some people like the idea of being an animal.

They don’t get ■■■■ for being where they are.

They don’t have to conform to a depraved society.

They get what they need and return to their nests or wander freely.

Meanwhile people make rules and stipulations to make life a living hell.

Too much demands and not enough room to chill out.

Where is the animals sense of ‘failure’?

Where does the road end that anyone could even ever consider themselves ‘successful’?

You’re receiving your end of what you are capable of doing.

You take care of your pets too yeah? Someone has to be home to do these things.

Would be nice if people could appreciate those little things more.

@cbbrown I don’t remember- have you worked enough to qualify for even a small amount of Ssdi or have you not worked enough?

No I haven’t I only had one job that was at Walmart. Everyone says I’m too easily confused and get upset too quickly that’s why I can’t work

I didn’t realize it happens so often until yesterday had to look for a pair of pliers from the basement but he has a bunch of different pliers so I grabbed the wrong ones on accident

That’s not a big deal. It just means you don’t use tools a lot. Lots of people don’t know tools well. Don’t beat yourself up about it

Your good with animals, maybe they’re looking for part time animal carers, just thinking

You bring in Ssi, do chores, and care for animals. Not a leech at all. They would fall on their faces without your income.

Get on a wait list for subsidized housing!
