Obsessive anything, including masturbation, is indicative of a problem(for which a person needs help) but it is ridiculous to suggest that once daily masturbation falls into that category.
I hope not too many impressionable teenagers read these forums as they could end up with a complex about a normal, healthy activity.

i divorced 10 years ago. and the only folks who argue with me , Iāve learned, are people who also beat off daily
iāve provided my opinion on what beating off daily means. itās essentially self medicating thats the main motivator behind having this red-handed activity in your daily portfolio, and if you want to risk being pee wee herman, thatās your problem.
donāt expect people to accept it, want to shake your hand, no, not everyone does it daily. I agree everyone does at some point, that is natural,
I am rather done explaining what Iāve learned about ejaculation, itās dopamine reward, and self absorbed pleasuring. youāre essentially rewarding your activity with a feel-good drug, dopamine. good motivation to do this activity, is it socially acceptable? no.
Has this topic not been discussed enough yet? I think anyone who has an opinion has voiced it

this topic is one of my triggers, when I see my ex, I have an anxiety attack. He used to beat off infront of me. I went to get help, and everyone said āwell thatās normal, everyone does thatā
then the first round of stigma started, I cried in my beer or laughed to my friends, and itās a small town, everyone was talking. then i was labelled a nut, because people heard I was a prude or something about this.
so, getting this out has helped me tremendously. yes, he was medicated and had treatment for his masturbation problem, he did it infront of me, who knows, elsewhere, like pee wee herman.
Iāve provided all the information his Dr gave to me above, regarding the dopamine reward, and how difficult it would be due to his condition to get him to stop. he no longer had sex with me due to his regular ejaculations, and pleasuring himself was more appealing to him.
he was like my son for many years, I took care of him. didnāt know this was going on. he did it after I went to work and after I went to bed. so, in my eyes, he could help it. he was labelled a sex addict, attended nude bars and called me several times to also admit he was watching sex in the parking lots of nascar races.
