From what I saw in the forum and on the internet, it can be beneficial for schizophrenia. Each capsule has 400mg. There are 50 capsules. I will tell you about the experience when I start taking it.
I’m on those too. I use them for stomach ulcer, maybe I get double benfits.
From what I read it rebalances brain chemicals, but I have my doubts. I’ll see what happens.
Well, I took sulforaphane approximately 20 minutes ago, at the moment I don’t notice a difference.
I wanted to say that I didn’t notice any difference. I took a 400mg sulforphan capsule and nothing happened. I will look for other supplements.
Yeah most if not all supplements don’t do much
I spoke to my pdoc (he’s very good)
Said “You can try but you will just waste your money”
I’m interested in L-theanine, they say it increases dopamine. But in my country it is very difficult to get.
Some supplements take time to work. Like weeks, or even months. I wouldn’t draw conclusions immediatly.
Are you using this product by any chance
I found that product to be useless.
I use this product
And it does the trick for me.
The first product has 400mcg sulforaphane per capsule, the 2nd has 20,000mcg sulforaphane per 2 tablet serving.
I did not take the 20000 supplement. What benefits do you notice with that supplement?
I feel more stable. I don’t feel in distress all the time.
L theanine did nothing for me
LDopa used to improve negative symptoms but gave me weird feeling in the brain sometimes it made me hear voices. Now it does nothing I feel like my body got used to it, my Dr said the brain gets adapted to it so it looses effects. Meds are much more effective like dopamine reuptake inhibitors Wellbutrin.
I don’t think you can take Sulforaphane and expect instant results. More likely it is some you have to take for a period of weeks to months
I think this is the supplement they used in the study I read.
I think they took 6 tabs or 3 doses a day. Pricey.
@Mr_Hope @everhopeful @AmICrazyYet has anyone tried l-lysine?
Yes, no noticable effect on my psyche.
I got NAC, Inositol, And Lions, mane the other day.
Those are all good supplements. Inositol seems to help me quite a bit, it’s supposed to boost neurotransmitter activity. I used to take NAC, it helped my OCD.
I can’t remember if I tried it or not. I don’t think I did.
