Feeling much better. Went back on my supplements

I suppose if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I stopped taking my supplements and felt really bad. They were making much more of a difference than I realised.

The supplements being

L-theanine
Broccoli sprout extract

I also quit caffeine for the 100th time.

Both of those supplements have research behind them saying that they are good for schizophrenia.

I am glad you went back on your supplements. The one I take that helps me with depression is NAC. I quit it once and gradually started to feel bad again. I am taking it again.

NAC has research behind it saying that it’s good for schizophrenia too.

Probably the Classic Placebo Affect.

No amount of supllements is going to change you that drasticly.

But if its working for you - Carry on Fella x

I don’t know. I’ve gone from feeling hungover and dreadful each day to feeling more or less fine.

Placebo or not, it’s working, so I’ll keep taking them lol.

Wasn’t beta Alanine part of your stack too? I use it and it’s great for anxiety. Could of sworn I heard about it from you!

Ive tried l theanine it didnt make a difference for me
What does broccoli extract do?

I tried tons of supplements. Some made me feel bad and made sz worse. The one that helped me is Huperzine A. Lately I have been taking it along with fish oil, calcium, vit d, multivitamin and green tea extract for weight loss and antioxidants. Taking lots of supplements gave me diarrhea and nausea so I reduced them.

Yes, beta Alanine is my PRN for anxiety. I’m glad it helped someone else!

I take 2 x 300mg of L-theanine a day, so maybe the larger dose is helping me.

Broccoli sprout extract is more subtle. It helps anxiety too.

Is L-Theanine good for anxiety?
I wonder if it would interact with my Clonazepam and or my AP or SSRI

I take 300mg in the morning and 300mg at night. It helps with anxiety at that dose.
