Sorry but i’m curious what does PRN stand for? I think it’s an as needed type thing but not 100% sure

It stands for ‘pro re nata’ and means ‘as needed’.

Keep hassling them. You got a Duty Line for a nurse, you can ring, like i do for Bognor and Chichester?

They probably got so many people on their books - you may have been forgotton.

Phone the Sussex MH Line. They have access to your notes - but they will also pass on how annoyed you are to your primary nurse at your CMHT.

I have no PRN at the moment, but hoping to be told I can temporarily go back on Diazepam or Pregabalin

My mother holds my meds, but I don’t want her to know about this

Found an old email with 4 people copied in, so sent the message to them

I hope they respond

Just seen online the Junior doctors and consultants are on strike, and doing the equivalent of Christmas day cover

@Joker I hope you are doing alright! I hope you were able to get your medication!

@Joker Did you get some meds, I hope?

Not spoken to anyone yet

I found my GP still had 2mg Diazepam on my record, so I picked it up yesterday

Took one and I think it did help

At least I have something for now

But the doctor will likely not be too impressed, but I couldn’t get through to anybody

Ah, tough sheet for them if theyre disappointed then.

You clearly put out a cry for help. That was the appropriate thing to do.

It’s on them for not getting back to you. You did your part.

I would have done the same thing as you, by picking up your existing prescription.

Psychiatric emergencies are no joke. You’re doing so much better, it’s vital for you to practice good self care. Which is what you did. You fought hard to get where you are.

I’m glad you have some interim relief until your medical team follows up with you.

Take care. :hugs:
