How to make delusions that you know aren't real go away?

I don’t believe these thoughts but my mind keeps toying with them. Because they won’t go away, I’m scared that I’ll believe them if I don’t continue to fight them in my head.

I have had this same problem and it’s scary. I have found that a lot of my delusions were based on ideas of reference. A lot of the delusions were based on coincidences. I have sorted out some of my delusions but I am still paranoid about certain things and these feelings are based on facts. There might be a seed of reality at the base of your delusions.

They go away quicker when you distract yourself by thinking of something else.
The less importance you give them, them less time they will steal from you.

for better or worse, I play with these delusions in my mind and see how serious I am about them being real. then I try to investigate the reality of it.

I find I like this a whole lot better than mind control or trying to push the thought away.

while toying with these ideas, I try to keep them to myself as much as possible, for my security is at stake. and stability…

Ana , try not to fight your thoughts, just stop them. The everending attempt at counter argument, counter proposal , counter reason , is just fanning the flames.
