My doctor gave me placebos and now I’m having a lot of symptoms and every day gets worse. I need to get my meds back ASAP. Is there a way to get an emergency supply of meds to hold me over until I can confront my doctor? Will the pharmacy give them to me if I tell them they gave me the wrong meds?
Where I live in England there is mental health liaison at A&E at the hospital.
They will give you enough meds for a few days until you can contact someone.

I’m in the US and to go to the hospital would cost several hundred dollars that I don’t have. But maybe I can try urgent care tomorrow?
That’s ridiculous when you need their help!

Yeah, if I get admitted I don’t have to pay the emergency room fee, but then I have to pay like $500ish a day for the first 6 days off being in the hospital. So either way I can’t afford it.
what makes you think they are placebo? that sounds paranoid…do you think you’re stable?

Just my normal meds. But I’m pretty sure my pdoc have me placebos last time I saw him because over been going downhill ever since I picked up my meds after I saw him.
I’ve been taking my meds every single day just like always but last time I saw my pdoc he said maybe I don’t even have sz and it’s just PTSD and then he sent in my refills and I went to get them and ever since then I’m having a lot more hallucinations and weird things happening and I’m having a harder time with insight and now today my sex drive is insatiable but with my meds I have zero sex drive. So obviously something is wrong. Someone ■■■■■■ up somewhere.
I dont think a pdoc or pharmacy would do that.
Only plausible thing they would do, if they actually think you were faking, is they would give you your medicine a day or 2 later then scheduled.
They would never actually give you placebos, they would just delay your medicine and see how you react.

maybe it’s because you need your meds upped…for the longest time I believed a spirit portal was in my bedroom and I was on 5 mg. twice a day…upped it to 10 mg…and I stabilized…good luck and don’t talk to @anon57786250

Did you miss any dosages ? Take it at a later ?
Smoke ? Drink ? Have grapefruit/cranberry juice ?
I actually never had an experience where my AP didnt work, but there were times where I forgot to take it.
Maybe you just missed a dosage or 2 @LED ?

No, I take them every single night before I go to bed. They’re in a weekly pill thing so I would know if I ever missed a dose and I haven’t. I just checked them all tonight thinking maybe I just forgot to put the AP in the pill box, but they’re all there and I’ve been taking them same time every day. No drugs, no cigarettes, no juice, nothing.
