oh you got to be kidding me…don’t do it @LED
I sent my case worker a text. I suppose she probably won’t get it until Monday, but not like I can talk to my doctor before then anyways. This is such ■■■■■■■■. After I get him to give me my meds and I’m done. I’m never going back.
What dosage of Perphenazine are you on ?
I was on 32mg.
I was taking 8mg x2 at morning and at night.
4 pills in total.
Maybe you missed a pill @LED ?
I just noticed that you have been online on this forum for the last 12 + hours… @DNA what’s up with that??
My doctor delayed my Geodon dose last year to see if the Amyloban 3399 was sufficient to suppress my positive symptoms. It wasn’t, but she felt that it was worth a try given how well the supplement was working for me and had worked for some of her other patients. This was the supplement you had a tantrum over me talking about taking here on the boards.
hey man, join the club everybody hates me tonight…sorry you’re still bitter about it…I thought I said I was sorry…
I understand how the cost of a hospital visit is a deterrent. Is there a free crisis line you can call? That might be a good start and maybe they can give you advise on local solutions to get your med issue fixed? I’m so sorry, it’s just ugly when your meds aren’t delivering like you need them to.
I take 24mg at night. I didn’t miss any doses.
They only crisis option in town is a hospital called Unity and they’re are so many problems with it and advise is so rampant that my doctor told me to never go there. I can either go to the ER, try urgent care tomorrow, or wait for my pdoc to get back to me Monday.
Are you under any additional stress lately? Being told you have a different diagnosis might have been more upsetting than you realize. A lady’s time of the month combined with stress could also impair how you’re reacting to meds. Honestly, this is best discussed with a doctor, but $$$. Sigh. What I really can’t see them doing is giving you placebos without telling you. That’s professional malpractice and could lead to the suspension or removal of your doctor’s medical license.
Yeah, I’ve had a lot of stress. And that might explain why I’ve been getting more positive symptoms. But how did my sex drive come back? They last time I had even a hint of a sex drive was when the haldol stopped working and they switched me to the perphenazine. Nothing since. And that was a year and a half ago.
Could you be bumping your way into menopause? I’ve noticed there are some days where Mrs. Squirrel is firing on all twelve cylinders now and for most of our relationship she’s had a six cylinder engine, if you get what I’m saying. It’s been … something.
@LED did your pills look different this time? Check on here to make sure your pills are correct and the pharmacy didn’t make an error. It is rare, but possible

And as for @anon57786250 @jukebox @anon82948922 the topic of the thread is helping LED, not being snitty towards each other. Let it go.
We had a person on here a week or so ago after their haldol injection feeling funny, I asked if maybe the pharmacy switched manufacturer’s as each with the use of the generic name has to use a different ingredient in their production. Not the main drug itself, but a “filler” not sure what to call it as chemistry isn’t my thing. I can’t have a certain injectable brand of haldol from one maker, it’s in my charts who it was but I wasn’t right after I had my 2 week dose on it. We narrowed it down by checking with the pharmacy because if your meds are consistently filled at one pharmacy they are to tell you if manufacturer, color, shape, things like that change. On your bottles like walgreens will say the manufacturer on there, maybe you got a different one than usual and it honestly is not working for you cause of their formula.
Walgreen’s is 24 hours here, so I can call anytime if something is off. But I have a tech buddy that will tell me if anything changes, he purposely takes care of me cause we worked together as teens at mcd’s.
Otherwise do you have 211 available in your area? Maybe they have other resources to help if you think you need help before talking to pdoc.
Menopause seems unlikely at my age, but still possible. I’ll ask my doctor. Thanks.
Pills look the same. But it’s not like they couldn’t give me fake meds that look like they’re supposed to to trick me. It’s happened to me before and when I confronted the doctor about it they refused to even tell me why and scheduled me with a different doctor from then on. ■■■■■■■ coward.
You sure it’s not something else in your life that is causing these feelings? Have you had any big changes in your health or your sleep or your diet or stress that could be causing these problems?
Nothing has really changed. I’ve been more stressed, but how does that explain the sex drive?
IDK. Would it be crude of me if I said that you’re just feeling hornier than usual at times?
