Same, 80 pounds or 36 kg as it’s here in Europe, in 11 years and I have no idea what to do about it. Trying to motivate myself to start yoga but it seems I can’t.

With Abilify I was gaining 3.30 pounds a week, indefinitely.
With olanzapine I don’t remember exactly but it was even more.

I gained 40kg on amisulpride and seroquel then lost 40kg with metformin and walking lots.

I hate so much how APs cause weight gain.

I gained about 20kg over a couple of years. Then it’s been a little up and down, but lost about 10kg the last year.

Have had to do a diet because of stomach issues, and losing weight is a byproduct of it.

Same here, 70 punds in 8 years and I can’t find the right motivation to get to the gym or diet…

I gained 45 kg/ 100 lbs over several years. Then I lost 30 kg/ 70 lbs. Then I gained 12 kg/ 25 lbs.

On Olanzapine, I gained 60 lbs. in around eight months. I carried that weight around for years. Then I switched from oral to injectable Risperdal and immediately lost all that weight again, (60 lbs.)

Over the last ten years, I’ve been on oral Risperdal and have slowly gained back 21 of those pounds. I’m now trying to lose them through a combination of calorie restriction, portion control, and intermittent fasting.

I’m 6 feet. Weighed 150 lbs with a six pack and visible veins. I went from 150 up to 340 lbs at my heaviest. Lost all my gainz.

Right now I sit at 260 lbs and trying to walk more… :lizard::hatched_chick::koala:

I used to work out a lot too and had low BF. I am so big now. Very heavy. No exercise. No energy.

I remember that I once stopped taking the antipsychotic (it was Abilify), and in 5 months I lost 30 kilos (66 pounds)

I’ve gained over 100 lbs since 2011. I don’t eat well and I don’t exercise anymore. I’m currently on a different medication called zyprexa. I’m hoping it helps me more. I guess I’m the fraction of patients that gains a lot of weight.

I’m currently 290 lbs +. My normal weight is 170-180 lbs. I’m 6’1. I’m 35 years old. I’ve been schizophrenic since 2011.

I’m currently seeing a NP monthly.
