How many of you practice a religion? If you do what is it?

I find comfort in my religion I am Roman Catholic and am actively practing. How about you?

I don’t practice anything although i’ve seen proof of the creation of earth and several spirits.

I read that “vatican” means literally “prophet of the serpent”, turned out to be true.

This book they walk with states that satan is the god of the world.

No wonder that this prophet of the serpent ended up with it’s own country.

i’m glad for u that u find solace in ur religion hunni. i don’t actually believe in any deity tbh and it’s a toss up for me as to how people can b so stone age in their belief systems these days or whether they r truly enlightened and i’m missing out. if there is a god then he forsakes most of his children and that makes me very angry…is there only a god for the fortunate few?? my husband was a catholic, as was his father b4 him. his dad has lost faith in the church and it’s teachings but still has faith in god. i really don’t know and i don’t think anybody does…it’s all a question of faith i think. faith in either science or religion…then again, some people have both. i honestly don’t know what i believe in except i do believe in ghosts…quite what they actually r i don’t know but i believe in something, i just don’t know what. xxx

I practice the religion of No religion - this doesnt mean that I dont personally believe in a God or Higher Power- I do believe in Spirit or Souls as well, its just that organized religion makes me kind of paranoid - I kind of get a sense that they are Cult like - oh so very rigid and divisive in their ways

I am an inactive member of J.W.

I am a practicing Mormon XD However, I do incorporate different beliefs into my practices. I blend Lds, Shinto, Buddhist, and some ancient Egyptian beliefs as well as Native American animism into my beliefs.

I did a lot of praying when I was psychotic, but never have been religious before or am now. Have to admit it was kind of egoistical in the sense that I tried it while being really down and thought well everything else has failed why not try praying. But in the long run I think it made me just more paranoid, that’s why I abandoned these beliefs again.

That is understandable. I really don’t blame you

Yeah thanks. It’s not that I feel bad about it, but I think this might also be the reason why it didn’t work, since it was not out of conviction and a rather lame try

I am Muslim…

I’m an eclectic Pagan with Native American roots, I belong to a “family of choice” where we perform ritual and also just enjoy each others’ company. It’s all very informal, but we try to honor Spirit and keep the traditions alive.

It’s not true at all.

Praise science, in the name of science. Religion is interesting but I see it all as mythology. I like the infinite cycle of creation and destruction of shiva. Playing drums the whole time to get people to remember to enjoy themselves. When I used to get high id think about it a lot. Time at least is infinite. Whether there are other dimensions or not is a mystery. It certainly doesn’t seem like it but I believe in infinite chaos and we just inhabit a place that is seemingly ordered.

I can recall my grandpa with his old age schizophrenia saying not for me to work on Sundays for the load rested ,I can Allison recall him saying get up off your ass it an’t Sunday.

i’m born again lol the only religion where you can be reborn into the world without actually being born haha, i was an ugly baby anyway haha

I am a christian but I am ashamed of people of my faith because they are so seperated by doctrine and say the dumbest things all the time. I believe spirituality is personal and up to each individual. I read my bible and I pray but I do not believe in church.

I am a christian. I do not go to church right now, but I tend to like churches with a strong missionary side to them, such as the Salvation Army. Besides, they were there for me when I was homeless.
