I’m not very good. I don’t think the pupils ever lie. I’m positive that when a person scratches it means something. I mean to even get to a mediocre level you have to be immersed for years. Also gotta believe your own lie. I’m not a very good lier.
I am average, not good, not bad.
Yes, it means they have an itch…or dandruff.
I’m not very good. Just remember the pupils never lie. I tried figuring out which direction you look when you lie. It was too confusing.
I imagine a super officer could do it like cia and fbi. I’m not sure how they manipulate their pupils.
All body language means something. It is never just an itch.
Hmm. . .
I’m Okay At Body Language.
To An Extent.
For Example: If I See A Glass Of Ice Water. And I Am Thirsty.
Now Get Thus, I Tell My Body, Well, (Arm To Reach), And Then Pick Up The Glass.
And Of Course Drink THAT TASTY BEVERAGE!.
All Under The Command Of What I Tell My Thought’s To Tell My Body.
But!,
In The End,
It Makes Me Sad. . .
The hardest thing to fake is fear.
Hmm. . .
What An Enlightened Thing To Say.
Is That Sarcasm I Detect In Your Emoticons?.
Also,
Still Sad. . .
No sarcasm I was in fear for five years. There is no faking that.
Probably about average. Maybe below average because I tend to assume I’ll intent more often than the typical person.
I’m really good at mirror body language though. It’s someone thing I’ve had to practice but it does help people feel like you’re really listening to them.
Sometimes that combo is bad because I’ll mirror a behavior that I don’t want to or don’t understand. That can get awkward/dangerous.
I find it’s better to just not lie. Then you don’t have to worry about body language. I’m generally only explicitly controlling my body language when I’m looking to convey an elevated threat level. I also suck with eye contact.
Can I read others? Yes.
I agree I don’t lie very often.
I’m also not very good at it.
Sometimes someone can just be nervous in a certain circumstance and it can make it appear that they are lying. Under interrogation for example. I’m not sure body language is always accurate.
Just go RAWR at people if they’re not clueing into your body language.
Or a person is so concerned they’re going to look like a lier that they use body language to show they’re not lying which makes them look like a lier. Mind fudge run on sentence. You really need to know someone’s intelligence level to know if they’re lieing.
Rawr rawr rawr
Usually the timing is off and they screw it up. They’ll look directly at you when they should be demonstrating lateral eye movement to recall something. You’re looking for movement to left on a right-handed person or eye movement to right for a leftie. A lot of people think you need to make eye contact when lying. Big tell.
Edit: This is really oversimplified, but, yeah.
What happens if you’re so concerned about lieing that you maintain intense eye contact 100% of the time?
Odds are you’re so focused on maintaining the eye contact that you’ve lost control of the other tells like a one shoulder shrug, delayed gesturing (unnatural and added as an afterthought), excessive gesturing, etc. There can also be excessive vocal fill, fidgeting, and rocking back and forth.
Hmm. . .
I Didn’t Even Need To See Your Expression’s To See That Thus Sentence Is A Lie.
And I’m Telling You The Truth.
No Seriously.
Still Sad. . .
