How do you know when it's time to go to the hospital?

My psychosis has been getting steadily worse over the past few weeks, thought broadcasting, hearing voices, thought withdrawal. I saw my therapist yesterday and he thought I was handling it well, but part of me wonders if it is time to go to the hospital.

So, how do y’all know when it’s time to go inpatient? Or do you have to have a doctor or family tell you.

Usually when you have to start asking yourself if you need to go to the hospital,

You need to go to the hospital.

After i was in the hospital I started dealing with it myself as all things pass after awhile. Believe your doctor that you are handling it well and don’t give in to the doubt if you want to stay out. Try to see your doctor or therapist once a week for a while. Read self help books a little and try the techniques. Things like that and people can distract you from your self and get entertainment and things for a while don’t isolate or overthink. I could have gone every year but the whole thing kind of turned me off. I was always under attack though maybe lightly to some of you. I just didn’t like the way they treated me and so I opened up to others and tried to have some real experiences. Its all up to you, but if you need to you need to. Do the work and it might keep you out. Sounds like you have a chance to do that.
