Thank you for sharing. Sometimes by learning new things, you end up learning more about yourself and that’s how I feel about this post. Anyways… I’m a ghost.

They have a low crime rate and high standard of living in Japan, but it sure looks twisted up inside when you see things like this.

Is the suicide rate still tragically high?

I saw a program on Japan showing businessmen doing a course that had them all crying and making them apologise for not being good enough. Weird stuff, I tell you.

It always looks fascinating, but sure don’t want to be them.

We may not have hiki-komori but we can be too withdrawn.

I watched a documentary on this when I was basically a shutin and super depressed. I still think about it sometimes, withdrawing from participating in society or ever leaving the house again

Though the type of social pressure in japan can cause so called normal people to withdraw also. I certainly wouldnt be able to take that kinda pressure

At the moment withdrawal is not for me even sometimes I like to live like a rabbit in a hole, but I always get out to socialise. Japan is a different culture.
