High Protein Food Recommendations?

Anything with high protein

list what you eat for protein.

I’ve been under-eating for months now with barely any appetite.

I’ll start; chicken n sweetcorn pasta. Eggs, cheese, milk.

Tuna, chicken, beef, pork, catfish (it’s a delicacy in Iowa lol), Greek Yogurt, vegetable protein, and almonds.

You probably should get a protein powder, though

Just try all the high protein dairy products!

That’s a great list

Some lentils are VERY hight protein for vegetables. Like you be surprised how much protein some lentils have. That being said, protein is not protein. Animal protein is more nourishing. That’s not to say you shouldn’t have only animal protein, just saying 20g animal protein is not equal to 20g plant protein.

Animal protein because of its similarity to human protein forms and such is more effective. If you do go for plant protein, you’ll need a bit more grams of protein.

Chicken breast is my go to. Sirloin steak, tuna, Alaskan pullock fish is a good one very high protein and low fat

I think for certain plant proteins you have to have combos with dairy, meat or fish.

Animal protein is complete. Has all 9 amino acids.

Eggs are a super food but I struggle to eat em these days.

These are my usual go-tos:

  • Tuna

  • Salmon

  • Eggs

  • Chickpeas

  • Protein shakes

  • Ground turkey

Why do you struggle with eggs? Is it because they get a little old after a while? How do you usually prepare your eggs @anon49368487?
