I need to eat more healthy and would like to have like-minded people post here. What do you eat on a daily basis?

This is what I think I should be eating too, along, maybe with nuts.

I just eat the turkey meat. I am avoiding bread products. Tonight, I’m having a 4 oz. lean-cut steak and salad (just greens and 2 Tbsp of ranch dressing). I can’t eat much more than that. Tomorrow, my breakfast will be a protein shake. More turkey for lunch along with a cheese stick. Snack will be blackberries or strawberries. Dinner tomorrow is chicken with 2 Tbsp sweet & sour sauce and mixed veggies.

That sounds good @Happy_H.

It is! In my nutrition classes, I was told to eat 3-4 oz of lean meat first, then as much green veggies as I wanted, then starchy veggies, and 2 Tbsp of something fatty to go with it. For the fatty food, they recommend healthy fats like avocado, hummus, olive oil, etc. I’m bad about the fatty food- I probably shouldn’t eat ranch- but I don’t eat it indiscriminately. I measure it. For snack, I can have protein shakes, 1 serving of fruit, 3 slices of turkey deli meat- things like that.

I eat meat, pork, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, lots of vegetables, a small amount of fruit, and nuts and seeds and healthy fats like olive or avocado oil. No sugar, gluten, or processed food. I am able to stay on this strict diet most of the time but I do cheat once in a while.

If you have access to a nutritionist/dietician through your insurance, I would highly recommend that. They can help you plan a diet that meets your needs/goals and meets nutritional requirements.

I’m eating a mostly vegan diet for weightloss.

two slices whole wheat toast
spinach caesar wraps with low fat dressing and croutons
spinach tomato omelette with hot sauce
a serving of frozen steamed vegetables with dinner
a tortilla pizza with low fat mozzarella
sometimes for lunch some minute rice with vegetables and lower sodium soy sauce
chicken fajitas for dinner
turkey burger with vegetables
cajun tilapia for dinner
cheddar broccoli for lunch
grilled chicken sandwich

less healthy stuff:
quick quesadilla with low fat cheese
turkey bacon blt subs
tuna melt with low fat cheddar and olive oil mayo
grilled cheese with low fat cheddar and tomato soup
chicken ramen with vegetables and chili garlic sauce added and half a packet of
–flavoring

My diet is averagely healthy. And varied. I cut down my portion sizes thanks to wegovy weight loss medication. And I’m seeing results.

Good luck with your diets everyone.

I’m going to try again today too.

Quinoa, red bell peppers, avocado’s, sesame seeds. Literally that’s all. Not for everyone but works for me.

Breakfast was two eggs and half a cup of egg white scrambled. Topped with fresh guacamole and sambal oelek that has been jacked with a squirt of Reaper sauce.
