I am having panic attacks … these days…
Benzodiapine prescribed by doctor
Or you can try meditation and cardio, they reduce stress hormones according to studies
i take 400mg qutapine and 7.5mg zyrexa it doesnt work…
i think i will see a dr and get prescribed benzo…
Thanks @swordiebrom i have started running during evening …
Depending on how bad they are I would recommend practising mind techniques such as not catastrophising or thinking about problems. Practise periods of time where you focus on something else for instance and see if during this period of time you feel calmer. Sometimes a more sedating antipsychotic can be successful such as Olanzapine or even Clopixol. I was on Clozapine and would have enormous panic attacks but since I changed antipsychotic I don’t panic at all.
Ap gives you anxiety as a side effect, it becomes apparent at high dosage
i think ssri and ssnri also works…
I run more then a mile or 20 minutes … lets see it helps or not…
I think Paxil and Zoloft are reputed to help with social anxiety. Talk to your pdoc about your options.
The fastest acting benzo is good for Panic Attacks. Xanax.
I took gabapentin for my anxiety and intrusive thoughts. It worked great, but made me gain weight like crazy. I switched to CBD oil and it has been just as effective for a little over a year.
I do therapy so I can recognize them and cope with them without meds.
My last resort is valium.
when things really get bad i use lorazepam but these days that hardly ever happens… usually when things are really bad and they contact gp doc then she says to use some lorazepam.
Im perscribed atarax and ativan for panic attacks and olanzapine for hallucination related attacks
but the olanzapine works far better as it just makes me pass out. lol…
