Sorta New Here and Would like Feedback

Here’s the meds I take that I’ve found useful.

  1. Vraylar (daily)
  2. Clonazepam (as needed for anxiety)
  3. Minocycline (daily) for a terrible complexion and for the negative symptoms of schizophrenia https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31416745 (besides its’s use as an antibiotic it’s thought to work as an anti-inflammatory in the brain)
  4. Propranolol (as needed) for panic attack https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26487439 (it basically stops my heart from racing when I get a panic attack)
  5. Diltiazem (daily) for high blood pressure and mood https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10863888 (they’ve been using calcium blockers to help with mood swings in Europe for a long time)
  6. Metformin (daily) for high sugar and it also helps with mental illness https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30624557 (metformin is a biguanides )
  7. Per someones suggestion on this site I’m going to try a probiotic https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29693757 I’ll talk to my doctors first; I try to talk to them first and only do one change at a time. So I know if somethings working or a waste of time

So any suggestions for additions or subtractions to my meds???

Oh. I see. Sorry. That’s the most important one.

L-theanine is helpful for anxiety to lessen the frequency of needing benzos.

Do you still suffer from anxiety? Ive found propranolol stops panic attacks but dos little for full on anxiety. Maybe gabapentin would be a good addition if so

Lions mane extract is great. It helps pain and mental health. i used itfrom RealMushrooms on Amazon. Some don’t likeit, but that brand worked amazingly for me.

I hardly use benzos (Clonazepam) or propranolol anymore as panic attacks are very rare now

I eat 2 -3 serving of mushroom a week so I feel I get my mushroom fix that way. Besides it’s a little expensive . . .

Its about $25 for a two month supply. Its not the same as the eating mushrooms
