Help For Sleep?

I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help sleep.
I’m pretty sure I made a topic about this before, but oh well.
I haven’t been sleeping much, lately, and it’s making things very difficult for me. I try to do things like avoid screens and bright lights after 8pm, progressive muscle relaxation, and meditation. I also don’t drink caffeine, except for my morning tea.
I recently stayed awake for 2 days, and so my doctor gave me Hydroxyzine 25mg to take only as needed for sleep.
I tried them once, and they helped, although I felt a little off the next morning.
I took another one, last night. Today I woke up and felt a little dizzy, shaky, weak, sooooo thirsty, my ankles feel weird and my back is tight. I felt I could barely stand, and my breathing feels shallow. I also had some really strange and bright hallucinations when I was in the bathroom. I don’t think I’ll take them, again…
I don’t know what else to do, though. My vision is still weird and making it hard to type, sorry.
Does anyone have any suggestions to help me sleep?
Looking for more natural remedies, if anyone has any ideas.
I might go to my doctor, on Monday, as much as I despise him.

L-theanine?

But. Talk to your doctor as it sounds more serious.

Ativan+trazodone used to knock me out. Now usually either geodon knocks me out at night or if I really need help sleeping I have klonopin. But benzos aren’t really supposed to be a use every day or use for a long time kind of med.

I take Melatonin 5- 6 mg every night for sleep. Works like a charm for me.

I was prescribed Circadin, which is melatonin. It works like a charm but I rarely use it.

I’ve made a spotify playlist with music which calms me and distracts my thoughts, and I listen to it on a low low volume when I can’t sleep.

I’ve tried taking melatonin, before. At first it helped, but then it started giving me heart palpitations, anxiety attacks, and dizziness.
Someone told me you’re not supposed to take it if you have a severe mood disorder. I think that’s why, but I’m not sure.

Soft music helps me sometimes, too.
