Has anyone hallucinated a car?
I keep seeing this surveillance van parked close to my house and I don’t know if it is real or not and I don’t dare to go check it out.

What makes you think it’s a “surveillance van” and not just a regular, plain old van?
I’ve seen normal things that my mind twisted into not normal things in line with my delusions.
My voices says I’m being monitor by the van outside
So you’ve hallucinated objects?
I have hallucinated that harmless objects or situations are actually a threat to me. I have had persistent hallucinations and delusions regarding my cardiac pacemaker being a tracking and control implant.
It’s just a pacemaker.
I wouldn’t put much stock in what voices tell you. It could be that one of your neighbors just bought a van. You don’t necessarily have to be hallucinating it for it to not be a van monitoring you.
I’ve hallucinated objects. But usually pretty mundane and easily identified as not real.
However, much more often I’ve perceived ordinary things as completely different than they really are.
Often related to someone following me or stalking me. Sometimes thinking food has been tampered with maliciously. That sort of thing.
I hallucinated some trucks once. I don’t attach any value to my visual hallucinations. They are distractions.
I tried to eat my car.
Initially I didn’t believe my so-called hallucinations to be real but now I’m more agnostic about them. To me the ‘real’ world feels as much as a hallucination as the hallucinations I’ve purportedly had.
Now that’s some serious commitment. At any rate cars should be edible anyway.
were the trucks very real? how did you end up finding that it was a hallucination?
I hallucinated music coming from empty cars. Made me think something was going on. But then I looked closer and the music stopped and the car was empty. Maybe you can relate. Maybe not though. I’m not sure if this went on for you. Noise could be auditory hallucinations. And a truck can be parked places and be no threat. Usually it probably isn’t a threat.
When I was off meds I saw a black car with tainted windows infront of my house at night, I thought it was ISIS who came to pick me up so I can work with them. I went outside but the car was empty, no one inside.
Somebody told me I was hallucinating. I was at a farmhouse out in the country. There was no road where I was looking. I was looking in a mirror inside the house. The trucks kept passing by, one after the other. The person whose house it was asked me what I was looking at. I told her trucks.
There’s no trucks, Martin! There’s no road there! You’re hallucinating!
I may have. I saw a van outside my house when I first got sick and it didn’t help that one of my neighbors wifi network was named FBI surveillance van #5.
Really freaked me out.
