How much weight did you lose and how did you do it? Did you exercise ect. What’s your dosage?
Thank you. That is a good idea. I feel depressed sometimes, but I know I need to try to walk more. I just need the motivation. But this thread has really helped me. Thank you for replying.
I am not sure because I don’t weigh myself. But I have lost weight. I was already quite slim to begin with but now I am looking like I need to gain some weight. I am not happy with my weight right now.
I do a lot of walking the dog and I go to a walking group once a week. Plus I walk everywhere cause I don’t drive so that’s my exercise.
I don’t eat enough. But usually what I eat is healthy.
My dosag is 100mg a month.
Thank you for replying. Consider yourself lucky you are not overweight. I am 60lbs overweight.
I lost some weight on a keto diet
No problem 151515.
Nice! I might try that too.
Bydureon injection has really helped me control my weight on APs. I only gain about 2lbs a month now, I used to gain 10-20lbs a month when I was just on it for bipolar, why I went off cold turkey and became schizophrenic.
Just read my own experience… i joined gym in 2019 january around the beginning… and ended year membership recently… stick to the treadmills everytime you have a work-out and then hit the weights (i was really eager to burn the fat, so i did cardio before weights) do how you feel right… however I was always shy 300lbs in beginnging no matter How Hard I Tried… slowly really slowly as of recent as five months back i started noticing i been lost weight, however i wasnt nearly going to the gym as much towards the last other 6 months of year… BUTTT…! I started walking and traveling on foot alot more (most times vigerously) since summer 19’ upto this current date and time and noticed a complete drop down to 261.4 (current moment)… it takes a complete year for your body to allow you to lose weight
Welcome to the forum!
I have basically given up on exercise. I just try to eat healthy and pray that everything will be okay. I hardly even weigh myself anymore. As I am sure I have went up alot in weight. The scale just depresses me.
I gained about 50lbs in 4 years of using Invega Sustenna 75mg i.e. I now weigh 225lbs which is 27lbs overweight for my height. I never stopped exercising before or during my symptoms or now on medication. My new overweight physic is affecting my employabilty. Also, I eat healthy and take suppliments.
I wish there were positive representation for people living with schizophrenia, even if I was that person
Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic.
