Weight gain

Weighting 215lbs now and just curious has to how much more weight I’ll gain being on invega. I hit the gym every other day but I don’t lose weight I only gain. What should I do I’m getting depressed about my appearance.

I gained 14 lbs on the shot in a month it is kinda concerning me too

I’m losing weight on abilify. I’m calorie counting. Maybe you can lose weight on invega doing the same thing.

I lost some weight on Invega with intermittent fasting. Basically have 20-30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking (like a scoop of protein powder in milk), and avoid carbs until 4 PM to 8 PM. Try to eat around 1100 calories total, and try to get in 30 minutes of exercise (I like a stationary recumbent bike for this), and the weight will come off gradually, maybe around a half pound a day (after accounting for water weight.)

1100 calories isnt much

That’s pretty much the lower limit that can be eaten without putting the body in starvation mode. Also, sedentary people need fewer calories.

Yeah true. I should really exercise more to lose weight but avolition is kicking in.

I hate exercising usually, but recumbent biking is pretty relaxing. Comfy seat, TV to watch, and just keep the legs moving. Don’t need to go too fast.

I gained like 30 lbs first month on APs. Only way I’ve lost weight is getting off, lowering them to the very minimum, or using topamax.

I am on invega too. Invega sustenna. Last month I gained 5 lbs. The month before that I worked out on the treadmill for 2hours everyday and gained 2lbs. I keep gaining and it’s depressing so now I am doing intermittent fasting. I am only eating once a day at 5pm. One big meal about 1200 calories. I’ll weigh myself October 1 to see if my weight stayed the same. I just want to be at a stable weight I don’t want to keep gaining. And if I lose even better. I am currently 203lbs.
