Haldol dosage

Hi everyone!
Is anyone on a minimum dosage of 50 mg? It’s been a month and I’m scared of relapses on such a small dose.

I take Haldol pill 0.5 mg and 100 Seroquel partly for sleep. Are you on an injection?

I take 300mg monthly

The highest dosage I have taken was more than 10 mg a day while I was sectioned.
This would add to 300 mg monthly. But it was only in a acute phase.

The lowest dosage I have taken was 0.5 mg a day.

I’ve been on 40 mg a day. That is misery.

You told me before, Crimby. I don’t understand how anybody could do that to another person. It is cruel.

I used 15mg/month and 25mg/month as depot doses. The latter was horrible. I got all sorts of weird side effects and got depressed. Don’t take me as an example though. My sensitivity to meds is different. They proposed to test me, they wonder if perhaps the enzyme that breaks down certain meds doesn’t work correctly in me. Which would explain why tiny doses work and regular doses knock me out. If I’m not breaking it down, there’s more in my system.

I’ve been on 1 mg a day almost all of the time since November 2013. I’ve never “relapsed,” despite some somewhat loopy-sounding beliefs on occasion.

I took 10mg pill a day for a while, that was the worst time I can remember in my life. My family and friends described me as zombie like, I slept 16-18 hours a day, had no thoughts in my head, my reactions were so slowed, plus I got horrible side effects like head and neck muscle spasms. Horrible. Hated Haldol.

I take 3mg a day…no voices but still a bit paranoid but I prefer that to going higher. Keeps my weight stable but not able to lose till I went on Ozempic for a while.

The med’s act differently on different people. I knew a guy who could take any amount of Stellazine and it had no effect on him. I can take any amount of Trazodone, and it has no effect on me. Just a very small dose of that knocks some people out for twenty hours. There is a certain amount of trial and error getting the med’s right for anyone.
