Went in to basement with brother in lawv after a rain and found some issues.
Ended up withdrawing offer. Kind of bummed. Outside of those issues the upper lvls looked pretty good.
But Ill keep looking yntil i find “the one”.
So, i guess im still on the hunt.
I’m sorry. I know you were excited about the property. You’ll find “the one”…that’s what my mom tells me when i keep missing out on cars online I’m trying to buy. I just have to wait for “the one”!
You should get an expert to check the house out next time. Don’t rely on yourself or relatives.

My brothervon law is an expert. He has Hvac training, Owns multiple properties he rents out and has bought many in the past. He also has tons of connections.
That doesn’t mean much to be honest.
I’d get a professional engineer to check out your next house.
Professional inspectiions happen after an offer is accepted, but my brother on law, who is an expert himself, will be coming along on these
Youre just wrong on that one. My brother in in law seriously knows his ■■■■. And has connections with the city and builders, contractors, etc. BUT , yes inspections happen after offer mafe as well. I dont think your fully aware of the process here. You just cant dish out 500 dollarsvevery time u look at a house
It was multiple things that the rain and turning on the water utilities helped to expose. Plus my brither on laws eye

Yes it turns out some dude who thought he knew everything decided that the new places were a better spot for them. But i cant remember who.
