But mentally feel much better , less anxious more confident. Bank pain is much less. I feel fitter. And I don’t know if I’m imagining things but my legs look thinner.
If you have been lifting weights, you’ve probably lost fat and put on muscle.
Check your measurements.
Muscle weighs more than fat.
Congrats on your accomplishment.
I have been usingn the weight machines mostly done the leg press ches press but that’s about it.
Keep it up, results will come.
I wish I could go to the gym, but all of the people and noise freak me out.
To be honest if you go in the afternoon or morning like I do it’s pretty empty. Also it might be worth getting some resistance bands for doing some activity at home
I cycle, have weights in the basement, but haven’t touched them in over a year.
There’s a 24 hour gym down the road I’ve been thinking about.
I could go at night when it’s empty.
@anon80629714 it’s very common to not lose. You gain muscle mass. It’s way better having 5 kgs of muscle over 5 kgs of fat! You burn more energy with muscle and it’s way better for you in the long run.
I’m slowly losing but it’s hard. It needs some dedication and you just have to trust the process!
And…Well done you Girl! Well done on sticking with it. It really will pay off health wise!
Abs are made in the kitchen, most meals have filler foods high in calories and lower in nutrition. If you eat higher protein, fruits and veg, some fat is a good thing, and keep the overall daily calories down smaller portions of good carbs, brown rice or white mixed in with grains for example, you can shed the pounds and gain strength too as calories are down but actual nutrition can often be way up.
