Slimmer legs but no weight loss after a month in the gym

I notice my legs look slimmer unless I’m imaging it. But no weight lost whatsoever.

What kind of exercise do you do? Have you noticed an increased appetite?

Not much. I still weight almost the same. Maybe the monthlies don’t help. I gain weight during that time.

Muscle weighs more than fat, so you may not notice yet

Doesn’t your gym offer a full body composition test of your arms and legs? Measure weekly or 2 weeks a part to see some real change.

All the factors that affect your weight can vary a lot. Much of the short term weight loss you get at the beginning of a diet is water loss. Your weight can be greatly affected, short term, by how much water you have in your system. It could be that your body has gotten into the habit of maintaining a certain fluid level, and because of that you don’t get short term weight loss. Be patient. The pounds will come off in time.
