Guys i cant remeber whether i took the medication or not today?

i look at medication and trying to remember i cant remember anything
should i take it again or not take it at all
its haldol 5 mg daily and biperden 2mg , dothiepin 25 mg
either i forget the daily dose or i take it already i cant remember
should i take them now ?

Same thing happens to me all the time if you cant remember take it the next day. I would recommend getting a pill box.

I’m not on any of those so all I can say is that on Resperidone I can go three or four days without it before starting to feel a little “iffy”. But the time I accidently doubled up, I almost felt like checking into the psyche ward that night. My only advice is when you see your doctor next, get clear on this issue. Inquire about missing doses and doubling up. I think generally for most meds that if you miss your morning meds and it is near the time to take your night meds than skip the first dose (the morning meds) and take your night meds as usual… (do not double up).
And then the next morning get right back on your usual schedule. But yeah, I would ask your doc about this for the future.

If you know when you got your pills, you can count them. That’ll help you know.

I get this a lot. I put an alarm on my phone. 9 am and 8 pm. When my phone vibrates then I take them so I won’t forget.

Yes! That’s what allows me to keep track of my med’s. If it wasn’t for my med. tray I never would know if I’d taken my med’s. If you take your med’s again, will it cause you to not have med’s at the end of the month or week? If you don’t know you should check it out.

I agree. Don’t recommend taking it now as you might overdose yourself. Take it next day :slight_smile:
