Rookie mistake. Can't remember if I took my antipsychotic

This never happens. I’m 100% compliant :joy:

But now I can’t remember if I took it or not as I was distracted when I was supposed to take it.

I’ll have to get a pill box if this happens again.

I’ll see how I feel in a few hours. That might give me a clue.

i do it all the time, its not a rookie mistake, its quite normal,

a pill box is a good idea

we can get blister packs that are sealed from the chemist but i think the pill box is better, haven’t got one though,

I have timer caps on my bottles that count up and reset every time the bottle is opened. I find it easier than a pill box because I don’t have to remember to fill it.

I became pretty sure I didn’t take it, so took one.

Your better off being safe than sorry

I might import one of those from amazon.com if it happens again. They’re a pretty good idea.

I put my meds in a cup and I count them. 7 in the morning and eight at night. I count them as I put them in the cup, count them once they’re all in there and then I count them one by one as I drink them.

I will survive if I skip an AP by accident but I cannot afford to skip my hypertension meds.

I only wish they were connected to an app that alarmed when you were late.

Tada! (Possibly)

Oh wow, finally! It’s just a shame I have three separate bottles, so that would be quite pricey.

I use an app called Medisafe. It reminds me when to take my meds. I have to hit snooze and for how long or take. I only tap take if I’m taking it right then.
Tip: if you use it, instead of naming actual med, just put morning meds, afternoon meds and evening meds or whatever. I take too many meds to have a separate alarm for each

It happens to me sometimes too

I use a pillbox and set my phone alarms and log in the times into my phone.

Usually better to skip a day’s dose than take a double dose. Then just take it as normal tomorrow.

Yeah just skip the dose.
Don’t double up.

I ended up being pretty sure I didn’t take it so took a pill.

A few hours later It feels like I’ve just taken one and not two.

So all’s well that ends well.

I felt nothing different one day i forgot to take one (i take one pill every morning). I didn’t get scared at all and nothing bad happened

I’m glad you figured it out. You know I feel really off within a couple of hours if I accidentally forget my morning meds. Nighttime one I could never forget because that’s how I get to sleep.
