this is the second time ive had to count pills in a few days and i hope i did it right cause if not i just took 8mg haldol, which wont hurt me but will make me restless…idk how to remember when i literally open a drink to take my pills, then take a drink then can’t remember if i took it or not. i guess i could get a pill doser.

Yeah SZ or meds are pretty rough on memory. I’ll think of something like a word to say and it just disappears.

i was tested as a kid and they said i had a short term memory disorder, def could be the meds tho, i was on em since age 11…so i guess i’ll never know. but my memory is terrible

I take my meds
First thing in the morning.
So that I don’t have to think about it anymore.

Get a pillbox. They sell them at the drugstore but I ordered one off the internet.

I havean awful memory, but a pillbox lets me know if I have taken meds.

I third it. Without a pill minder, I would be lost and constantly forget to take them or take them more than once. I have 3, one for my supplements, one for my morning pills, and one for my evening pills. Morning pills as soon as I get up then evening pills between 4-5. I have an alarm on my phone set for 5pm just to remind me in case I forget. Yes, I have obsessive-compulsive personality traits but if I didn’t I wouldn’t function that well. Everything has to have a routine or it will be forgotten.

i use a pill box to make sure i took my meds. I forget fast also if i took them so i check the pill box several times

me too, its like ill take my meds then a bit of time idk if i took them so i kinda small scale panic thinking if i took it and forgot and take it again i will be over medicated but if i didnt take it and dont take it now then i will have missed a dose

i solved this by using a pill reminder box and taking meds at same time every day with an alarm

I noticed you mentioned being on Haldol. I did the same thing when I was on haldol, can’t even count how many times I had to sit there and recount pills cause I couldn’t remember if I took.
On abilify that hasn’t happened once though.
