I just got through seeing the dermatologist because I had a weird growth on the side of my head. She told me she is going to slice it off and send it to Stanford hospital so they can do a biopsy on it. It won’t be done until the middle of May though. I’m not going to spend a lot of time worrying about it but it does raise the specter of possible cancer.
Hope it’s not cancer.
Best wishes!
You’re right not to worry too much. Hope you get the all clear.
I refuse to believe it
They don’t know until they biopsy it
I wish you’d get the results sooner. Skin cancer in particular is very aggressive, but usually very successfully treated.
Best wishes, Nick.
If I remember correctly you had one of these before and it was ok. I hope this is the same.
You have a good memory; that was like three years ago!
I hope your growth doesn’t turn out to cancerous, but worst case scenario I think skin cancer is pretty treatable. I had to have a lymph node on my neck biopsied a couple years ago and waiting for the results was extremely nerve wracking. Waiting until May would be awful though, hopefully you can keep your mind off of it.
