Good ideas of things to do

Im doing nothing really the last weeks. Im feeling bad and im in my bed. Some exceptions, but still.

Any ideas of (feasible) covid-proof activities for me to do?

I promise to kindly and agreeably listen to recommendations like “Marian, you should go for a 20 minutes walk today” or “Marian, you might want to clean your kitchen”. Ideas for activities with son (preteen), though he doesnt live with me fulltime, are welcomed too.

Please help me get out of this lazy mode.

Things are only semi-locked down here btw, so i can still go outdoors, some things are open (film theater, shops, etc).

How about watch a movie with your son on Netflix? Or a TV episode or two?
Bake cookies with your son?
Go to a local park with your son? Just dress up warm.
Go window shopping with your son at a mall? Buy him only one toy, if you can.
Read a children’s book to your son.
If you can, play a video game with him.
Listen to his favorite music with him. And try to get into it.
Engage him in conversation. Don’t talk about yourself. Encourage him to talk about himself.
These are just a few ideas.

I like to go on walkabout with a mobile phone camera and document the interesting or odd things I see on Instagram. Cheap hobby.

@shutterbug, i think that is a good idea for tomorrow morning. It seems like a good way to be aware of interesting or beautiful things while i walk.

@SkinnyMe, thanks for all the good ideas…he is with me tomorrow after school, i will propose a few of those.

@anon53623539, that is something i would like to look into…I think it might help me feel better.

Thanks all.

Good objectives usually pop into my head when I least expect them to. It’s easy to forget them.
Have a text document on your desktop to record those impromptu thoughts of possible activities.

Puzzle, a random hobby you can learn on youtube like lock picking or maybe fun home science experiments

Cool!

Lock picking seems useful. I have a tendency to forget keys. :yum:

Yeah it can be a real money saver😁.There’s a big YouTube channel called “lockpickinglawyer” for that stuff. Also if you have a deck of cards lying around you could learn cardistry together.

Maybe go for a walk and look for something to draw? That’s what I do when I feel stagnant
