Has any one got better and stopped hearing voices after they heard demons or spirits?
Yes, with medication.

What medication did you take?
Risperdol at first. I take Seroquel and Klonopin now and they take most of the voices away, and keep the demons at bay.

Are you voice free?
No, not entirely. Sometimes I hear them, other times not. But, they are about 90% gone with the meds.

How did they go away with whispers or just less of them
Some of the main voices I heard, specific voices, the ones that would torment me, are mostly gone.
Now I have quiet voices, that sometimes just say random things, or make commentary about what is going on around me, or say things that don’t make sense. But they are much less frequent and more quiet than before. I can actually live pretty normally now. Before I was overcome with voices and I couldn’t do much of anything.

Was this gradual or all of a sudden the recovery?
I think 80%-90% of schizophrenics hear voices. Not sure. I don’t hear them, but I sometimes think greys or aliens are demons. Just a thought…

yeah but it took a while to realise that the ‘‘demons’’ are just hallucinations.
