It often takes time. My cat is under 2 and my dog is almost 6. They are both crazy like me. Lol

There’s a vet show on nat geo wild called dr.k
She and her staff treat all kinds of primates is a very good show. But she said having a pet monkey is the equivalent of having a toddler for 30 plus years

I have kaiseki my bearded dragon, jasper a pacman frog. My in laws two dogs a pit bull mix and a shih tzu’s then their cat trooper

I adopted Shadow when she was 7 weeks old and now she just turned 7 months. My apt complex doesn’t allow pets but a letter from my pdoc for an “assistive animal” made it okay for me to have her here as long as she doesn’t cause problems for the neighbors.

If you get a prescription for an emotional support animal you might be able to keep your dog. It’s worth looking into.
