Geodon, visual hallucinations, not sure what to do

I’ve been on geodon for close to a month I think, and the visual hallucinations were gone for a while, but they’re coming back.

The three legged cat/dog thing that follows me around is back, and I see people peering into my windows and they’re wearing construction hard hats.

Pdoc isn’t in today (Thanksgiving), so what should I do in the event things don’t calm down?

What dose are you on? I’ve been on geodon for about six weeks now and am doing fine at 40 mg twice a day. I actually like it a lot more than the risperdal that I was on…

I take 40 mg twice a day also, and they said it’s supposed to be taken with a meal, but that’s hard for me to do since I don’t eat breakfast. I like it as a med, very few side effects. Just not working like it did in the hospital.

You have to eat 500 calories for it to work.
Have two bananas, a cream cheese sandwich and a milkshake

That’s not quite my idea of a dream meal lol

Just make sure you eat well balanced big meal.

What creepy hallucinations! Maybe up the dose of geodon?

I take 160mg of geodon a day and I still believe what my Dr and husband think are delusions and I still see things other people don’t. I’m now also on 100mg of seroquel and it still hasn’t gone away. Maybe you need more geodon or a different AP altogether? In the meantime, just tell yourself no one else sees them so they’re probably not there and find things to distract yourself.
