Forgiving yourself

I’m still feeling stupid about stuff I did when I was 14 and I feel stupid over a lot of stuff

Im wondering if anybody has ideas on how to forgive themselves I’m very hard on myself

I literally just… Don’t think about it

Ignorance is bliss right?

try to let it go and divert your mind away from the guilt when it comes…just keep diverting and maybe one day it will not be so strong…find a happy place to go to in your mind when the thoughts come.

I’ve thought about everytime I think about it try to think of my hobbies idk I have a lot of remorse a lot of it and I overthink

I forgive myself for the bad things I did as a teenager and even in my early 20’s.

I’m almost 30 now and have grown a lot as a person. I’ll never be perfect but I wont ever go as low as I have in the past.

Cool I am a lot better off and I didn’t have the help I do now back then I gotta leave the past in the past I’m pretty sure everybody has done things there not proud of it’s just if I would of gotten the help i needed I wouldn’t of done most of it

I’m like everybody else on this thread. I did a lot of stupid things as a teenager and did a whole boatload of new stupid things when I was addicted to crack in my late 20’s. I have a few regrets but I did all that stuff 34 years ago and for the most part I don’t feel guilty or regret the majority of it. I have a couple of things I could put in a “Your greatest regrets” thread but I barely spend any time on regrets if any time at all.
Now that I’m in my 60’s, it’s like Mark Twain said “I don’t regret the things I did, I regret the things I didn’t do.”
