For those that have taken amisulpride

In low or high dose can you describe what it has done for you? I have more of a transient psychotic disorder from an inability to treat and tend to anhedonia from addictions in the past that developed. Medications don’t really work for me at all unless I physically exercise to be “more involved with the day” and increase sensitivity to substances. I’ve heard really good things about amisulpride can anyone describe their expierences with it?

I used Amisulpride Solian with a depot 21 years ago. I think that it worked at my positives. But it killed my libido I think I took 1200 mgs Solian by mouth. No major weight gain. And it’s said that it’s the only antipsychotic that improves the primary negatives.

I have been taken Amisulpride for nearly 10 years. I used to take 200mg daily and then about 2 years ago I started to take a combo of Amisulpride 100mg +Olanzapine 5mg. Amisulpride is excellent at suppressing positive symptoms. It also help with depressions. However it gives me high prolactin levels which caused sciatic pains to me. My Pdoc prescribed me Bromocriptine Mesilate to tackle the prolactin issue. Bromocriptine is very expensive. This why I take less Amisulpride and add Olanzapine 5mg.

Good experience with amisulpiride it helped positive symptoms and had antidepressant effects

(Not sold in USA so I never had a chance to try it. It never went through USA trials.)

Amisulpride made me more social, I made so many friends. It made me feel really heavy though, not easy to exercise. Can’t remember much else…,was a while ago

Did you hot sexual dysfunction on amisulpride? How much time it took for you to be back to normal again

Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic.
