Yea my grandmother got married at 13y.o. to a much older guy and started smoking at 11y.o. But nowdays its different, at least in Syria its more modern and girls are getting married at a much older age. I read that in Saudi Arabia its more extremist and girls as young as 8yrs old are still getting married at that age. Maybe with time it will be more modern. I also read about a young women in Saudi Arabia who was put in prison simply because she was doing rap music.

But I was 30 and they wanted to settle down, make family etcā€¦
After, I met few women who I could date, but didnā€™t want to be with someone who is sz and have more problems then meā€¦
So I decided to live in celibacyā€¦
During lockdown I had something like short dating, but nothing happened because I didnā€™t want.
Its just that in my fourtees I dont crave sex any more, and if I meet someone I could peacefully live with, it be great.

Yea I am getting older too and I am losing interest in having a gf, I am 31. When I was 20y.o. all that I was thinking about was having a gf and have sex.

Amisulpride takes away my want for woman somewhat. I donā€™t think I need somebody else regulary in my life, but that doesnā€™t mean I want to give up on woman all together. Not married, not working, but I sort of need to do something about all of it. It always starts with reducing medicationā€¦

It may just be the medicine, or perhaps a phase. Some people get divorced at 30 and their thirties are the horniest years of their life.

This is the excuse pedophiles keep using. Well itā€™s not so bad that I married a 13 year old, because that other culture had an 8 year old married.

I am saying that now in Syria I am sure that no one under 18 y.o. is getting married. Thats what I meant by being more modern nowdays. You misread my comment.

Incidentally, marriage under age 18 STILL hasnā€™t been outlawed in America. Thatā€™s part of what I mean when I say it isnā€™t a cultural thing. Itā€™s a pedophile thing, and pedophiles in every culture hide behind ā€œitā€™s my cultureā€

I think my grandgrandparents were both 15 years when marriage was aranged.
That was usual in southern part of land.

Iā€™ve never worked. My wife, who was 22 years older than me, died in 2005. She had serious physical health problems, and for the last few years of her life-vascular dementia.

No, I gave up. I canā€™t make everyone happy, my parents donā€™t want me to date a girl on disability or who has mental illness. I think theyā€™re right, I have enough sz problems and barely have money to support myself. I cant really support someones else and her kids.
