I was coming back from the store and a cop car pulls behind me and follows pretty close all the way through two streets…I still have an out of state license so I get afraid. I can’t afford a ticket. anyways, the cop finally turned the other way as I turned right he turned left. shew…
thats a relief1515
The other day a cop was following me everywhere, I went right, he went right, I went left, he went left, I did a u-turn, he did a u-turn. But he didn’t pull me over. So I purposely drove by dunkin donuts. It was enough to distract him for a split second he turned his head I hit the gas and left him in the dust…he never caught me.
Then I went home and made bacon.
Yeah, that’s what they do. When I was 17 or 18 I was driving home with my friend to my house late at night from the beach and a cop got on my tail and followed me about 4 or 5 miles to my house. He didn’t leave until I got out of my car and climbed my stairs to my house. It was pretty weird.
They did it back then, they do it now. They knew you were a stoner @77nick77. They just knew
I’ve had my fair share of run ins with the police officers back in my heyday as well
They stereotype teenagers a lot. But jukebox is older so it might have just been a coincidence he got followed
I have darkened windows in my SUV…I don’t think the police could see me.
Yeah, my car was beat up and old. My dad called it a cop magnet.
Maybe this was why you were followed.
Omg. This just happened to me, only they had lights and sirens. Only it turned out it was the guy in front of me. Good thing I didn’t do anything rash.
Wow. @twinklestars that would have scared the hell outta me…I bet you really felt a wave of relief when it was the guy in front of you !!
I’ve only gotten one traffic ticket in my life but I still feel uncomfortable when a police car or highway patrol car is behind me.
Speaking of the police…
I was out shopping at the CVS pharmacy earlier today and I came out of the store to find three police cars surrounding a car they had just pulled over in the parking lot. One police car was blocking my car. After a few minutes of standing there not sure what to do, I finally said in a meek little voice “Excuse me, Officer, but you’re blocking my car.”
He moved the police car so I could back my car out and I was on my way.
I was thanking Jesus and everyone else I could think of.
I couldn’t figure out what I’d done. Turns out it was nothing of course.
But, once I got a ticket for expired registration because someone stole my registration stickers. (It’s common, and a $10 fix-it ticket.)
My AA sponsor told me that one time he was suing the cops because one of them had beaten him up very badly in a jail cell. My sponsor said it is so scary to sue the cops if you live on the street. You start seeing them everywhere, and you think they are following you. It would be a simple matter for the cops to use their radios to organize a campaign of harrassment towards someone they didn’t like.
A word to the wise, a little courtesy towards the cops goes a long way these days. They’re hungry for respect. My brother was doing fifty in a thirty mile an hour zone, and he drove right by a cop. When my brother was pulled over he called the cop “sir” and was very courteous. The cop put down on the ticket that my brother was just doing forty in the thirty mile an hour zone.
