Ever since December started, I’ve been going through many depressed episodes. The days are shorter and there hasn’t been very many sunny days to get outside. I also haven’t taken a shower in 2 months and one of my bro’s said I smell. I don’t give a ■■■■. I eat a lot and my go to food is carbs to lift my mood. I workout 3 times a week and can recover from that fine. I haven’t been eating gluten free for about a week so that could be some of withdrawal I’m also dealin with. I just hate feeling like this. I want spring to come so bad.
Have you considered that the holidays might be getting you down? This is a common occurrence.
yep much like the way people block conversation with schizophrenic, hope you do well and find peace in family groups
I am looking forward to the holidays but stressed
It is hard
Yeah. I’m pretty sure it’s the holidays. All my relatives live out of state and prob won’t be seein them this year.
I worked out for 35 mins and stood near the kitchen window for a while to get some sunlight, that lifted my mood
You might try some vitamins such as vitamin D to lift your spirits.
This time of the year is depressing for me, too. Its holiday season and people go crazy here where I live as its by the sea. Summer has begun and I’m looking forward to autumn already! Hope you feel better soon! Maybe take a shower and see if that will help you relax. Do something you enjoy
There is a type of depression called “seasonal affective disorder”. It strikes people in winter. They say its cause is a lack of sunlight. People get depressed because they don’t get enough sun. You can cure it by going to a tanning salon.
Here’s a Christmas Cheer Bump then.
Maybe practice think in positively about winter? Focusing on the now instead of the future. Just look for the little things like a hot cup of coffee on a cold day etc… it has helped me
