It is this time of the year and I feel depressed

The length of the day is just 6-7 hours and it gets dark early. I can feel this dark season affecting me. I am feeling much more depressed.

I feel this too. I’ve spent the past two days going from my bed to the couch. And crying. I’m pathetic. I don’t know if it’s related to the weather or if I’m just broken but I’m telling myself it’s the darkness so I don’t feel so bad about it.

I hope you feel better @mjseu.

I could take vitamin D, many people do it. Also milk has some added vitamin D. The length of the day was much longer in summer and I was able to ride my bicycle more while being in the sunshine and getting vitamin D naturally. This long dark season makes me to feel more lonely because I do not see many people, but fortunately we have this forum where we can meet other people.

You could talk up to heat lamps and put a stationary bike in the corner of your room you can put the TV in front of it and put it on something that looks like it’s moving this way you can get in an hour to 2 hours of bike riding and still get the vitamin D you need

Sometimes I think it would be cool to live in a place with 6-7 hours of daylight, but I probably would get tired of it after a while. Maybe you could see about getting a pdoc to give you antidepressants that work for this type of problem. It might help.

Mood lamps can do wonders. :rhinoceros::rhinoceros::rhinoceros:
