I quit vaping December 14 of last year cuz that was when I was having cardiac issues. I vaped all day long and loved it cuz I could do it inside my apartment. I’ve been chewing nicotine gum since then and I have to say that my breathing has improved a lot. Yes, I miss the whole hand-to-mouth habit, but it’s been getting easier. I sold my reusable vape and juices to someone so it’s not sitting there tempting me. Good luck stopping…also, I buy my nicotine gum on eBay, where it’s cheaper than the pharmacy, so you might start there.
Thanks so much for the replies so far. Amazing job on selling the vape and chewing gum!
I do buy my gum from eBay too.
Vaping is pretty much banned here in Australia so we have all stocked up for a few years. I probably have enough stuff to keep me going for 3 years if I only vape with morning coffee.
Maybe if I work on just vaping in the morning with coffee I will feel a great improvement in my health. I’m pretty healthy and fit but I don’t like how the vape irritates my airways.
I’m sorry you got pneumonia! That would have been horrible. We don’t have zyn pouches here but I think the gum is a lot less harmful than vapes.
I still vape but I cut down my mg’s in half recently. It’s half of what I used to vape. And I haven’t snuck in a cigarette in ages. So, I guess I’m headed in the right direction.
I vape every 5 minutes on 6mg
I was smoking 120 grams a week about 5 years ago
Our smoking laws turned a 30$ 30 gram into 70$
So today I would be smoking ruffy 280$ a week
I vape. Considering swapping to nicotine gum next month. Will use the rest of my vape supplies first then switch. I feel much better vaping rather than smoking but I’m concerned there may be health risks with it also
I’m vaping constantly from the moment I wake up to moment I go to bed. Stressed. When I run out I immediately go and buy another bottle. It’s very bad for you and will damage your teeth as much as smoking cigarettes.
Possibilities of stopping is solely dependent on you !
It’s just a matter of a decision away,
and it will help you in other decision making as well.
What I say is, if you want to make your decision right.
Either smoke or never smoke and making this decision will help in other decision making to.
Because I have known in a very bad way,
never play with one’s own conscious decision making.
Most tobacco smokers who wish to quit fail to reach their goal. One important, insufficiently emphasized aspect of addiction relates to the decision-making system
