I’m considering it.
But sounds wicked painful.
Anyone have any experience?

It removes the lining of the uterus correct? What’s the purpose of it?
I need my periods to stop but don’t want a hysterectomy.
My mother and grandmother had periods into their mid 50s.
I’m 38.
They make me physically ill and make my SZ symptoms flare like crazy.
And yes, you’re right about what the procedure is.
You should do it!!
My ex had the worst periods because of hyperthyroidism
Periods blow even as a third party lol
(Obviously they’re necessary for procreation so if you’re not going to get pregnant again)
That sounds really tough. I’m sorry to hear that
No but im on a waiting list to get an ablasion done on my heart. I didnt know they did ablasions for what you are saying. Interesting.
I had severe endometriosis and had uterine ablation as well as endometriosis removed from my organs. It wasn’t as bad as I expected after they told me what they did.
I ended up having to get a total hysterectomy anyway though.
I had a uterine ablation. Wasn’t painful but my period came back 3 months later just as heavy and horrid as before. Ended up having a hysterectomy. The hysterectomy was wonderful! Because my hysterectomy was laparoscopic within 3 days i felt great and by day 10 i was back to usual life (except without the crushing pain and so much blood). I was 37 when i had my hysterectomy. Because they left one ovary my menopause came on much slower and i actually had very few symptoms.
Anyway, this is my experience and I’m sure others have had much better success with uterine ablation.
